Villa with thatched roof between Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn, 2000 m from the Baltic Sea, one hour’s drive from Lübeck, and 20 minutes from Rostock
The home is located between the exclusive seaside resorts Heiligendamm (4 km) and Kühlungsborn (3 km). The beach is about 2 km or a 10-minute bike ride away.
The property consists of a thatched brick house that is surrounded by a terrace, a large garden with a creek and a beautiful view of the countryside.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. A sauna and a whirlpool are also included.
The home is furnished with antique, blue-white, country-style furniture and has a garage and a parking area.
The home is located in Wittenbeck near Kühlungsborn, one hour’s drive from Lübeck and a 20-minute drive from Rostock. It is situated approximately 1.5 km inland from the sea between the elegant seaside resorts Kühlungsborn (3 km) and Heiligendamm (4 km).
The home is just a few minutes’ drive away from the natural beach at Wittenbeck and the sandy beaches of Kühlenborn.
You can easily get to beaches and villages by bicycle (a 15-minute ride). Wittenbeck has a 29-hole golf course with a view of the sea.
The nearby historic seaside resorts all boast a great variety of restaurants and shops.

* Two bedrooms are fitted with double beds, one with two single beds. Each room has country-style furnishings and own private bathroom. The bathrooms have separate showers and bathtubs.

1. Heiligendamm (4 km) – Germany’s Brighton (founded in 1790); today the entire village consists of a Kempinski Grant Hotel
2. Kühlungsborn (3 km) – large seaside resort with elegant architecture, Germany’s longest seaside promenade, sea bridge, marina, many restaurants.
3. Rostock (20 km) – old Hanseatic city, great for shopping.
4. Wismar (40 km), Lübeck, and Stralsund (100 km each) – all three true Hanse cities as well as UNESCO World Heritage sites.
5. Schwerin and Güstrow (50 km each) – medieval residential cities of Mecklenburg’s dukes with magnificent castles and beautiful old town quarters.
6. Hamburg (150 km), Berlin (200 km), Copenhagen (250 km)
 Traveling by car:
When coming by car take motorway Lübeck-Rostock, exit Kühlungsborn.
Traveling by plane:
Closest airports for regional flights are Rostock-Laage or Lübeck-Blankensee, for intercontinental flights Hamburg or Berlin.
Traveling by train:
Take train to Bad Doberan or Kühlungsborn then take a taxi. You will, however, need a car during your stay.
Traveling by boat/ferry:
Take passenger ship to Rostock or Warnemünde, or yacht to the marina in Kühlungsborn.
